How I make films is an almost entirely intuitive process.
One moment flows to another and I am acutely tuned in to preserve the essence.
There might be some lightly-directed parts when we’re shooting together, but that is kept to an absolute minimum and
I never approach people or environments with a specific outcome in mind that would disrupt the natural flow and energy.

This is your wedding, afterall.
Not a production shoot.
The best results always come naturally without much intervention from anyone. Simply being exactly how you are is all you need.

GRAND AMOR is designed to challenge the idea of the wedding film.
Using mixed mediums of digital, analogue, and reportage photography
- It solves the problem for those who are looking for a non-traditional
visual memento for their wedding day.
Documentary filmmaking for lovers who know how to live.

“Sam has a gift for making you feel completely at ease. He never interrupted a single moment, yet managed to capture all the raw emotions and little details we didn’t have time to appreciate fully on the day. Our film is breathtaking and authentic, far more than we could have ever even imaged.”

- SOPHIA + ALEX

“Our wedding planner highly recommended GRAND AMOR and it’s no doubt as to why. We are totally blown way! It is so full of soul! We watched the film with our friends and family after the honeymoon and we didn’t stop crying with joy. Thank you, Sam!”

“From the moment we met Sam we knew we were in good hands. He captured what our wedding FELT like, not just made it pretty. Every frame was a painting. We never felt like we were on camera - I still have no idea how he achieved this. Incredible film and easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.”
